Having a verruca is not something you really want to talk about. It restricts so many activities and can get painful so needless to say it’s something people want to get rid of. So what happens after the OTC products don’t work and you need to try something else?

At Laserase Bolton we offer treatment for both warts and verrucae using lasers. The results are good as the laser cuts off the nourishing blood supply to the lesion and it is destroyed that way. Treating warts and verruca’s using lasers is quick and effective.

Caroline’s Story

I had been suffering with this same verruca for almost a year and a half I had repeatedly bought freeze sprays and paint on products and it just kept on coming back. Each time it came back bigger and it got to the stage where it was painful to walk on it. I would never have imagined how much something so common could affect my life. I stopped taking the kids swimming and I could not go barefoot anywhere.

I stopped wearing nice shoes and was limited to how far I could go.

If I walked far it would throb and be painful for days. Nothing was working so, of course, I looked on google! I discovered Laserase offering treatment with Laser and I started to research a little more. The laser treatment made sense and I decided to give it a try. After my consultation with Jo I was quickly booked in and I was treated at the weekend which suited me perfectly. Jo explained everything to me so I was comfortable with what to expect.

The laser did hurt when it fired on my foot but only for a very brief moment and then it just felt hot and itchy. I could feel the heat reaction deep down below the skin which meant physiologically for me it had worked!

The whole thing began to darken over the next weeks and then it came away. There was still what looked like a smaller flatter verruca underneath. I had a second treatment and then a third and this time it was treated completely.

Now it’s like it was never there and I’m back to bare feet and swimming. I would recommend the treatment to anyone suffering from these common but irritating things!
