My name is Karen and I am 52 years of age. I have had thread veins for many years on my legs, mainly on my thighs which cause me a lot of embarrassment and due to this I tend to wear trousers or tights. When I am on holiday I am very conscious as the thread veins in some parts look like bruises. 5 years ago I paid to have sclerotherapy treatment at a private hospital which was quite costly.

I had my first course on Sclerotherapy and the procedure was virtually pain free (only slight sting on insertion of needle). As expected the area treated is a little inflamed and feels a little bit tender, but I was able to go shopping and drive myself home after the procedure. Saria the specialist nurse who carried out the procedure was very professional, friendly and was informative throughout. I cannot wait to see the final results and am looking forward to the summer and my holidays now. All the staff at Laserase Bolton were very friendly, helpful and polite.
