My name is Karen and I am 52 years of age. I have had thread veins for many years on my legs, mainly on my thighs which cause me a lot of embarrassment and due to this I tend to wear trousers or tights. When I am on holiday I am very conscious as the thread veins in some parts look like bruises.
I am a 34 year old mother of two children. I have suffered from polycystic ovaries for around 15 years now. Over the years I have been getting more and more hairs on my chin, neck and face. I have tried all different ways of trying to remove unwanted hairs to no avail. A few years ago I watched Embarrassing Bodies and saw a lady who suffered from the same condition who had received laser treatment.
I have a tattoo on my wrist and on my ankle which I regretfully got at a very young age. I love tattoos and have since had 2 full sleeves and a chest piece done but wasn’t happy at all with these old ones and wanted them removing./p>
I’d wanted a tattoo of an owl for many years. They were my mum’s favourite animal and they’re mine, so I knew that no matter what, it would always be something that meant something to me. I spent months and months searching for the perfect owl and after trying and failing to find one I loved I sought out a tattoo artist I knew was excellent and asked her to design one for me.
